Out on the Sunday morning foraging trip this morning I slipped and landed heavily on my left side. My knee, hip, arm and shoulder are all still very sore. The arm came off worst and is missing some skin.

In other news, last Sunday was the 10 year anniversary of being a permanent employee with my current employer.

They run a 'recognition' scheme where staff can be 'thanked' by others. Managers are able to give points off the back of this which can be saved for rewards.

For reaching 10 years you are given a bulk load of points. Combined with those I already had, there was enough for £260 of vouchers which I put towards a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (the 2022 version) and only had to make up £29.

It's not bleeding edge, but that doesn't bother me. It will act as a great media consumption device and will save me from carrying the MacBook around if I want something bigger than my phone. If I get a keyboard case then it'll be even better.

As it comes with an S-Pen I plan on using it to kickstart writing by hand again, even if only digitally. I've not used the S-Pen in my phone for months, it's just too small to be comfortable. The pen that comes with the Tab is full sized so far more conducive to writing for longer.
