It's been a few days. I've not really felt compelled to post anything.

One thing I have tried to do is rekindle my journalling practice but even that, with intent and effort, hasn't been overly regular. Or extensive. It's like my brain is currently empty and there's nothing to come out — nothing that needs to be committed to the page at least.

The last time I saw the doctor, when discussing my symptoms and traits, she said that I obviously know myself well as I am readily able to identify the things I do and how I act. It is, therefore, frustrating that I don't seem to be able to pin down the one thing that really matters right now: are the meds helping? Maybe it's still too early and I need to take them for longer to see any real effects.

Patience. These things take time.

One thing I have noticed is that I am clenching my jaw. A lot. This is called bruxism and is apparently common with the type of SSRI I am taking so will have to bring it up at my next appointment. I don't recall it being an issue when I was taking them before so I'm not sure what's changed or why it should start now.

# A lot can change in a couple of weeks. I previously wrote that I wasn't going to jump into Mists of Pandaria Remix as I didn't have the headspace for it. "One thing at a time" is how I was approaching it.

Well, I hit max level in Dragonflight then, after a dismal failure in a follower dungeon, couldn't bring myself to keep playing it.

Yesterday, on a whim, I jumped into Remix and have been having a blast. I was staunchly Alliance when MoP first came out so opted to go Horde this time. This means that I am doing questlines that I've never played before and it's quite refreshing. Not to mention the craziness that is Remix itself.

I'm still in the "one thing at a time" mindset, it's just a different thing.

Chris mentioned getting up early and playing some WoW before work. I didn't get up early but did do a few quests while having breakfast this morning. A good sign that I'm enjoying it.

I don't play computer games very often, but I have found this iPhone game, Arcadium, that is an excellent space shooter game. Has a good mix of retro and modern elements. I'm hooked!

Yeah, I don't usually find a mobile phone the best interface to play a game on. Nor do I want to get into the habit of doing it. But this one is beautifully designed, really playable, and appeals to my "take me back to the 80s" desire. 😊
