I've reached a point where I'm pretty happy with how the blog looks and works so haven't felt the need to make many changes.
Something can't always be in development, right?
I've put my plans to build an integrated RSS reader on hold for the time being. It would be nice to have but, with the other workflows I already have in place, I don't think the amount of work (read trial and error and breaking things) would currently be worth the utility it would provide.
Still, learning by doing doesn't always have to relate to the blog and code; making the move to Mac, and everything that entails, definitely falls into this category.
Whatever form it takes learning is something I now continually strive for - becoming mentally stagnant is not an option, especially at my age.
@colinwalker while putting an integrated RSS reader on the back burner, have you thought of using something like tt-rss, or miniflux? I'd be happy to set you up with an account on my install of tt-rss. I've been playing with @cweiske's tt-rss-micropub plugin. I also have mini flux installed, but haven't gotten it to successfully auto-update any feeds yet ?
@colinwalker I tried to post a reply to this, but it just showed up as a link on your website. After work I'll see if that is a problem with my markup.
@eli Looking at your post it has the "u-like-of" class on the link to my post so will be seen as a like. For it to be seen as a reply the class would need to be "u-in-reply-to"
@colinwalker whoops! Teaches me to copy and paste while making changes!
@eli ? we've all done it
