Every 6th August, in remembrance of the Hiroshima bombing, Simon donates his BandCamp profits to the Hibakusha Stories: an organisation working to pass the legacy of the atomic bombings to a new generation.
If you haven't heard it, I highly recommend his Hiroshima EP, especially the track Paper Cranes which:
... documents an emotional visit to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Museum, and concludes by describing an encounter with a survivor
It's a very worthy cause.
