Went for a walk and decided to explore a little.
After feeding the local ducks I took a route I hadn't been before, passing over the motorway on a footpath. I couldn't go too far as it started getting quite muddy but managed to take a nice couple of photos.
You wouldn't think I was right by the M61/M65 junction.
On the way back I popped in a single earbud and had "Stone in Focus" (or #19 as it's officially known) quietly on repeat. It was almost like listening to a field recording with the sound of birds merging with the music. I'll admit to getting a bit emotional as I walked.
If that is what recovery is going to be like then sign me up!
Passing back past the pond I was met with some very demanding ducks but I didn't have anything for them this time.
