They say that the best way to improve your music making skills is to focus on a single instrument. Learn everything there is to know about it, invent ways of using it that weren't originally envisaged or intended.
That's what I will be doing with my next bit of gear.
What better way to ensure everything has sunk in than to write a full review. If I can write about what it does, how it does it, and what I can achieve with it (and make it interesting and make sense) then I think I'll be on to something.
It might even become a regular feature on the blog. I'm in that "post release lull" so could go back and revisit some of my other synths etc. Deep dive one at a time.
If nothing else, it will be good fodder for the blog, but will also help me make better decisions on what to use and when.
