World Mental Health day

This is an RSS Club only post! Please do not share.

Although I'm not blogging at the moment, I feel it's always important to bring attention to today, what it means and how things can be improved.

Mental health either still has too great a stigma attached or is not taken seriously enough. People still don't talk about it as much as they should – it's getting better but not quick enough.

I'm not going to say too much at the moment but I have taken the first steps towards getting the help I need. Properly this time, not in some kind of half-arsed way that doesn't really help in the long run.

As you know, I've been thinking a lot about what to do with the blog and am considering using it to focus on mental health and my personal journey – almost a public journal. Maybe that will happen, maybe it won't. It's an option I'm seriously looking at.

For now, let me reiterate that if you need help you should talk to someone – it doesn't matter who. If someone else needs help be there for them, let them talk. Don't judge, just listen.

Look after yourself. And others.
