I don't know why but I felt it was time to re-enable the /now page. I was just looking at the options and thought "why not?"

It's not that there is anything particularly original or special going on, and everything tends to get chronicled on the blog or in the Journal so who is it for? It's just that something inside me said that it's needs to be done.

Maybe it's a zeitgeisty thing where I've seen the links to other people's or seen it mentioned in my own past posts, some kind of sublimation.

Whatever the reason, I have given in to the impulse and will try to do a better job of updating it than normal — it is a 'now' page after all, not a 'then' page. A blog is filled with enough 'then' pages, stretching back throughout its existence, and doesn't need another.

This time last year I was saying how I couldn't think of anything else I wanted to add to (b)log-In — could I really have believed that? I've added so much in the year since.

I think I was just glad to have it up and running, with webmentions working, and that it was more a sense of relief than actually thinking I was done.
