It had to happen at some point:

I had nothing to post about yesterday, after 340 days of finding at least something to put on the blog. But, yesterday, there was nothing and no inclination to force it. I didn't want to just post anything purely to keep a streak alive.

A year ago yesterday I wrote how the "last few leaves cling for dear life to the tree at the back of our house" but the seasons seem to have shifted slightly this year. While there may not be that many leaves left, there are considerably more than there were then. Perhaps it's because autumn has been particularly mild. Saying that, we could be in for a cold snap around the end of next week with even the possibility of snow.
