We had a parcel arriving early so I had to be up but I'd already decided that I was going to start rising earlier. It's lockdown so I'm not commuting and there are hours that I could be using productively but have spent largely in bed. It's nice to have a lie-in once in a while but doing so every day is wasteful and is a hard habit to break.
So, for the late shift this week (Tues - Fri, I was on a different shift yesterday) I have set the alarm 90 minutes earlier than I would have done previously. It's still not super early but it gives me extra time to wake up, get my head together and spend doing whatever I want or need.
If it is possible to say there is one good thing that Covid has done it's been to gift me extra time but I have so far idled away too much of it.
If the source URL of a webmention includes a fragmention then this text is identified and made a "back link" to that source URL. I've added a couple of columns to the comments table to store the relevant information and updated the endpoint accordingly.
Now, when comments are listed a check is made against the post content and the fragmention text changed to a link:
Tests kept failing but using Postman on the Mac it emerged that I had managed to break my webmentions again for anything other than the first post of the day. I had previously reworked the blog HTML and forgotten to close a div. It didn't affect page display, which is why I hadn't noticed, but each subsequent post was seen as part of the first when parsing the microformats.
