Yesterday, On This Day, reminded me of why I built the /updates view for /reader.

a different approach to feed consumption with less of an emphasis on the actual consumption itself within the reader – more of a notification system

I reverted back to it last night to force me to read posts at the source rather than homogenised in the reader, but want to make some updates to how it works.

Currently, /updates just shows a link to a blog etc. with new or updated posts. I originally posited that such a view might show individual links to items so may add these. It will give me more control and also be able to indicate which posts have changed.

I might start looking at this tomorrow. 🤔
