Further to getting a bunch of spam comments, and enabling moderation, I wondered what else I could do.

I already employ IP address blocking for logins to combat bots so decided to hook commenting into this. Hopefully, it should prevent those same bots from dumping rubbish in the comments.

I've also added the ability to block IPs directly from the email I receive after getting a new comment.

Let's see how things go.
