Anne (AKA Apple Annie) suggested an alternative to NaBloPoMo 1 in WeblogPoMo, running through May. It was originally conceived for those with blogs hosted at weblog.lol. However, in her words:
I didn't want to exclude anyone not using weblog, nor necessarily people not even using omg.lol, so it is open to anyone
May is as good a time as any to jump back on the blog (I have put a few thoughts over at the Carousel) but I can't promise I'll post every day this month. Anything is better than nothing, and however many times I do post throughout the month will be enough.
I'll be keeping things restricted to just the Daily Feed.
Anne suggests bloggers choose a guiding topic for the month so as to feel more inclined to post. I suppose if I were to choose something it would be mental health but we'll see what happens.
# Still, currently in Preston Hospital with my wife so not an ideal start to May.

National Blog Posting Month, itself an adjacent to National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) in November each year ↩
I would participate, but I'm already doing a 21-day art challenge:

I had a look at the Participators list, though. Cool to see so many people blogging again (or still?). I look forward to the day when social networks implode and a broader range of people realise the value of blogs again.
