Do I have to work today? I just want to watch the snow.

The One UI 6 (Android 14) update is now downloading on my Galaxy Tab. This makes me happy as I'll be able to use my new writing workflow there rather than just on the phone.

Misu commented on writing every day, initially concerned he would be able to keep it up but then "it got easier." As I always say, we are our own inspiration.

He quotes Casey Neistat, a vlogger who mentions "having the clarity of purpose of doing something everyday" — such a good way of putting it.

This reminded me of something Seth Godin says: "People like us do things like this". Also, in his book Atomic Habits, James Clear writes "Every action you take is a vote for the type of person you wish to become."

It may all sound a bit airy-fairy but there is a valid point: if you don't do the things you want to get better at then you never will and there's no point moaning about it. I needed to read that right now.
