While it's not something I think I'd ever use, I like the way Jason Velazquez specifies an assumed audience for each post — this one for example.
The link in the top right takes you to the relevant place in the post's metadata. Very elegant.
And he's right, it's not that websites disappeared but people forgot how to find them after succumbing to the social giants.

Fixed something that's been bugging me since I switched comments to a side panel. They should now auto-scroll to the right one if specified in the URL. This one, for example:
That's the third post of the day and comment with ID 1965. Comments can also be referenced by their position so you could change that to &c=3:5 (third post, 5th comment) and be taken to the same place.
