There is something strangely satisfying about only following a small number of people on Bluesky. There is a sense of completeness in that I can open the app, catch up on all the unread posts in my timeline within just a few minutes then put it away again, done.
There is no FOMO, no doomscrolling (not that there is any doom to scroll) and no impulse to keep refreshing.
I'm still growing things slowly but small is good.
