New feature for the site.

I was looking at On This Day and the Archive and thought there was no easy way to choose a specific date.

Introducing the date picker.

Hit the icon in the footer, select your date and you'll be automatically taken there.

I love being able to code on my phone. Although we're away for the weekend and I don't have the Mac with me, I can still create a new feature like the date picker.

Admittedly, it's harder to troubleshoot – virtually impossible for JavaScript unless I throw in a load of alert() functions to keep track of what's going on – but I can usually get things sorted.
