I watched the Prime Minister's statement and subsequent questions in Parliament after the release of the Sue Gray report (or what was left of it) – what a joke. He accepts absolutely zero personal responsibility and is more concerned with keeping his job than doing the right thing.

When I saw that Wordle had been bought by the New York Times my initial reaction was "it was fun while it lasted" but this is reassuring:

"At the time it moves to The New York Times, Wordle will be free to play for new and existing players, and no changes will be made to its gameplay."

I am, however, imaging that the game will undergo changes and development to gradually distance itself from the original:

"As part of our portfolio of games, Wordle will have an exciting future with the help of a team of talented engineers, designers, editors and more, furthering the user experience."

@colinwalker famous last words. Nothing that NYT touches stays good for long.
