As a household we have decided to change our diet and eat less meat opting for a 4/3 split — 4 days a week veggie, 3 days meat. It is primarily on health grounds such as cutting down fat consumption but knowing that, in our own little way, we might be benefitting the environment slightly is a great byproduct of that change.
We're only a few days in so it will take a while to notice the full effects. Combined with better and more regular exercise this is a lifestyle change that should reap excellent rewards.
@colinwalker We did a similar change two years ago, and my physical health is greatly improved as a result.
