I woke in an absolute panic just before 6am, heavy breathing, heart racing. I was dreaming that an ex-colleague had flipped out and was wandering around with an assault rifle hunting people, a duffle bag slung over his shoulder no doubt containing other weapons. Myself and others were running, trying to hide from him. And that was it, that's all I can remember. I don't know why or where we were although the place seemed to keep morphing between different styles of building.
I wonder what Jung or Freud would have thought of that.
@colinwalker Ugh, I hate dreams like that. The other night I had one where I was being harassed by a very in-my-face evangelical Christian – no idea where that came from!
The subconscious is a very strange place 😂
@colinwalker I woke up this morning when our 5yo called me at 7:30, but was first annoyed, because I had to finish a task first in my dream:.... my wife and I were feeding a blanket we bought in Canada long ago into a paper shredder. It was somehow extremely urgent we get that woollen blanket into the shredder properly. So much so at first I felt I had to go back to bed to finish the dream :D
Hahaha, and I thought my dream was weird 😂
