We just found out that one of my wife's cousins, double jabbed, has been diagnosed with Covid for a second time.
Wow. So, he/she got COVID, then got both jabs, and then got COVID again?
Or, got two jabs, then became sick with COVID, recovered, and got it a second time?
Do you know whether it was two different variants?
It will have been two different variants. She first caught it back at the beginning of all this last year. And now, after both jabs, has it again.
@colinwalker that's terribly bad luck. And a reminder that we're not out of this yet.
Indeed. And also that the vaccines are not a panacea and shouldn't be treated as such.
@colinwalker yeah. I still wear my mask most times and try to keep a 6-10 foot distance between people. More people than I expected in my area are doing the same as they reasonably can.
Same here but, sadly, I'm increasingly in the minority.
