Moving WordPress to a subfolder broke a lot of links to images in posts and to other posts themselves. I've spent a little time this morning going back and fixing some – I've only made it back to October – but it doesn't really bother me that much.

Everything before the switch to (b)log-In is history, it's just reference at this point, kept as an archive – it's unlikely that many will be delving through it all. Yes, it will be nice to fix them (and I likely will over time) but I don't see it as a major priority.

After seeing that Patrick had updated his /now page I thought it would be so simple to implement one within (b)log-In. The thing is, I'm conflicted about the use of one.

The way the blog works, the home page itself is a quasi-now page. Only showing posts from 'today' is about as now as you can get. I understand and appreciate that a /now page is supposed to be more of a high-level overview, a summary of current (and ongoing) actions and priorities rather than the minutiae of the day but have always had issues keeping one updated.

With the events of yesterday slipping off the blog homepage, maybe there's never been a better time to implement a /now page. Maybe, with inline editing, the ease of update will be the thing that prompts me to keep it updated, just like with the journal.

I'll have to mull it over for a while and see how I feel.

There seems to be an unwritten rule, almost a law, that people who own TB303 clones have to take a stab at emulating Confusion by Pump Panel – from the opening scene of Blade.

A rough and ready /now page is up and running – it was easy to repurpose the Journal page and make a few tweaks. I need to think about how to incorporate it into the links at the bottom of the page. With it being so easy to update I might actually use it.
