We are away for the weekend seeing our daughter at university in Bournemouth. While she was at work we took a drive to Salisbury cathedral (we always seem to end up there.

However, it was saddening to see such extensive flooding along the route after the appalling weather we've seen in the past couple of weeks, especially from storms Ciara and Dennis. It was primarily in fields, rather than forcing people out of their homes as in other areas of the country, but it still has an impact on farmers, on supplies, on prices, on morale.
Something has to be done.
