# I'm definitely not using the microblog category any more, it's redundant now. The RSS feed will still exist should I ever want to go back to it but this will be the last post on it acting as a marker, pointing out that it's no longer updated.

# Using a clipboard manager on the MacBook is extremely handy for things like working with CSS - holding multiple hex colour values and being able to easily paste the right one at the right time is invaluable.

Clipboard managers on iOS, however, are a mess by comparison. Clippings need to be manually saved using a share extension or Today widget, pulling you out of your workflow or even the application you are working in. Clip retrieval is just as bad.

Apple argue that this kind of behaviour is for security but MacOS allows apps to intercept the clipboard. If it's for security why allow it on MacOS? Why have two separate security models across different devices?

The argument over whether iDevices are fully suitable for creative work rather then consumption is not helped when such apps are hindered by such a model.

Sorry, rant over.

# Further to my "utterances" about social, and Twitter in particular, it looks as though Twitter now has, or is rolling out, the ability to follow searches with "top tweets" about the topic or hashtag appearing in your timeline.

I can't find any official announcement about this feature; is it new or currently in testing? Regardless, it's about time!

# There are times when I wish Dave Winer's idea of RSS pushing changes to subscribers was a thing already. ?
