This is interesting. Meadow has built a small analytics app but it also supports both the sending and receiving of webmentions. For those who don't like analytics, he says "you can still use the webmentions functionality without using the analytics tracker!"
I'm all for more simple ways to use webmentions as they're such a great way of communicating between blogs.
