The map on its own is a bit of an accessibility nightmare so I've added tabbing between each of the items, the SVGs all have accessible titles and the pop-ups appear when each item has focus through tabbing. You can hit enter to select the relevant item when it has focus.
I've also increased the frequency with which the map appears while I continue to access it.
