Yesterday's mutterings about keeping things simple lead me to another idea, another feature: one-click publishing of drafts.
Publishing a draft would mean opening the post, changing the status and then hitting 'Update'. If I am happy with it why not just have a way to submit it with one click/tap?
Drafts will not have any comments so the 'show comments' icon is redundant. If a post is a draft I have, therefore, replaced it with a new icon which, when clicked, immediately publishes the post.
