I've never accepted homepage webmentions, not here nor when using WordPress, primarily because there was nowhere to display them.
Pablo sent a mention just to the root of the site but I didn't know about it until I read his post. This got me thinking that I should at least cater for them somehow, even if it's only to notify me by email.
This post will serve as a test to see if the changes I've made to the endpoint work or if I've broken things dramatically. 😆
It worked! Just a slight tweak to account for there being no post mentioned and we're all good. A homepage mention will send me a mail so I can at least see where it's come from.
