On the way home we swung by the Emley Moor transmitting station, the tallest freestanding structure in the UK at 330 metres. It's very impressive and can be seen for miles.
The mast behind it is temporary and was erected so that work could be conducted on the tower without interrupting transmission.
Unfortunately, the photo doesn't do it justice.
