It must have been a good thing! After spending half an hour with the final chapter, looking at my notes with fresh eyes, I'm done – the first draft has been completed!
Is it perfect? Nope, but that's not the point. The point is getting it down so it can be revised, tweaked, improved, and I'm happy/relieved/exhilarated to have finally reached this point.
