Finally got Ventura reinstalled after it failing three or four times – I can't remember which. It would get through the install part then hang on booting. I think it might have been due to different versions of the OpenCore Patcher on the Mac itself and my USB stick.
Now I've just got to reinstall apps and set everything back up again. It's a good opportunity to reassess exactly what I need. Not that much it seems.
