Happy Friday!
(I've not typed that in a while.)
Last day of work before the holidays and, the way Christmas has fallen, three days leave means I have nine straight days off. \o/
When I go back on the 3rd Jan it will be to a new role. For the past 14 months I've been working on a specific project but that is now coming to an end as everything we've been building is getting handed over to BAU 1 teams. I will be moving from the delivery team and taking what I've been doing with me for continuity, supporting it on a day-to-day basis. It will be very similar work but for a different team.
The alternative was to stay in the project delivery team and move to a new area of work but this was going to be incredibly intensive and high pressured. With my current mental health situation it was agreed by all that this would probably not be the best option.
The move means I will be working either directly or indirectly with a number of colleagues I have previously worked alongside in different support teams. Some of us seem to be following each other around the company. 😂
