"But the antidote is there. It's waiting. It's other people, in flesh and blood, without a mask, without an agenda. May we spread it with the same vigor we vested in the vaccines."
In recognition of International Women's Day I wanted to list the blogs I have in my RSS reader by female authors. I've stripped back my subscriptions recently but was still surprised that the number was so small:
My process for finding and following blogs is very organic: if I stumble across something and like it I'll follow it. I don't go out of my way to find any particular types of content.
This appallingly short list, however, shows the lack of diversity in my day-to-day reading.
Any additional recommendations for female authored blogs would be greatly received.
I want to instigate some major changes to the blog and have a few ideas about how that could happen. I have been forced to question how and what I do here. Forced may seem a strong word is the context (more on that tomorrow) but I genuinely believe it's the right one; it was one of those real lightbulb moments.
i'm curious and excited as to where this could go.
