Yesterday, I felt the compulsion to build my own notes system instead of using a third-party tool like Google Keep. The mechanics behind it would be similar to posting on the blog but the UI would need to be more suitable so I thought adopting a card-like approach. In typical fashion I would also need to have the facility for tags/categories.
I started working on a quick UI mock-up last night and will see where it goes. The notes will support Markdown and be editable/deletable, just like blog entries.
I have been using Keep because it syncs to the app on my watch – helpful for shopping lists, etc. – but there are web browsers for Wear OS so I might be able to use a self-designed system that way.
