It's a long few days as I'm doing my rotation in the office. After the early shift on Monday I drove the almost 300 miles south ready to come in.
Traffic has been awful and I spent about four hours on the road commuting yesterday – around two hours to do the 45 mile trip each way. This morning was better but that might have been because I left a bit earlier.
When I finish this afternoon I've then got the 4-5 hour drive back home. I'll have to listen to at least the first half of England's Euro semi-final on the radio in the car but might make it home in time for the second half if I'm lucky with traffic. Very lucky.
