Happy Friday — at least, that's the plan.

My daughter's temperature looks to have been stable overnight but we're still on watch. She's got to rest over the next couple of days on doctor's orders — no work, no stress, even the explicit advice not to sign any forms. I suppose it's nothing that can cause her to potentially aggravate her system and lower her defences.

I could do with a nice quiet day on the work front, I don't think I can handle what often passes as other people's IT problems today. We're all a bit frazzled mentally and emotionally.

A nearby vaccination centre was offering an Astra-Zeneca walk-in so I got my second jab earlier than my previously booked appointment. With the Indian (Delta) variant spreading in the area they are keen to bring forward the second jab from 12 to 8 weeks. #vaxxed

After yesterday's events, I feel fine and have not had any kind of immediate reaction.

@colinwalker which jab did your daughter get? I'm fully vaccinated as part of theam AZ, but my kids will have to get theirs at some stage: They will probably be on Team Pfizer looking at Aus' current strategy. Just wondering...

She had Pfizer. An allergic reaction is quite rare so typical her 😆
