I woke multiple times during the night so am so tired this morning. Just give me a nudge if I fall asleep at my desk.
Nipped out last night to put some petrol in the car after finally getting a bit low after a few tip runs in the past few days. It's the first time I've had to do a fill-up since the new year. That's lockdown for you. Still, it's only two weeks until the government should be ending the "stay at home" restrictions – as long as all the numbers are still heading in the right direction.
Just being able to get out properly, to take a drive to the moors, be surrounded by nature, will be so good for the soul.
Just because I'm an introvert with tendancies towards social anxiety it doesn't mean I enjoy being stuck at home. It may affect me less than others, and I may have no desire to get back to being among throngs of people, but it definitely still affects me. I need to get out into those wide open spaces, get a sense of scale and perspective and reconnect with Mother Earth.
@colinwalker that's so tough! But hang in there. One day (soon I hope) all of this is going to feel like a very strange dream... hope you rest well tonight.
@herself Thanks. Just having the "stay at home" order lifted will enough to start with.
@colinwalker I've had the same thing happening to me, no matter how early I get to bed. As a result, I've had to deal with brain-fog during the day plus general sluggishness. I need to make an effort to get outside more often.
@wearsmanyhats indeed, the fog is real!
Hmm buddhist or druid? Could be either ;)
