# Liked: Remember - Flashing Palely in the Margins...

"I am choosing to remember, and more importantly, to remember to remember, as the weeks go by and life is filled with so many things that deserve to be remembered."

"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." - Ferris Bueller

My wife frequently says that I live on "Planet Colin", oblivious to things going on around me. That's, no doubt, largely because of the depression as I tend to shrink inside, unintentionally isolate myself from those around me. I don't mean to, it's just something I've always done, something I need to get out of.

It's all part of why I've been making the changes I have this year: trying to be more positive, more present, and more aware. Writing my daily log is a major factor in this.

The daily log is also there to help me remember the good stuff, what I was thankful for or happy about on that day, the important stuff! Just as Sameer wants to remember so do I, I need to so that I can be more focused, more attentive, and less inclined to recede within my head, my own little world.

Things have been going much better so far in 2020, since deciding to do this, but I recognise there is still a long way to go.

# I need to sort out the styling when a post begins with a blockquote, it just looks odd with the block and link hash overlapping.

Just adding a blank line works but doesn't seem right.

# Why over-complicate things? I've just added a left margin to all blockquotes so the link hash fits next to them. Simple.

# Neither indenting blockquotes nor moving the link hash to the left look entirely right. The latter looks good on desktop but is a bit squashed on mobile.

I can't decide which I prefer and will also need to see what happens to it in the daily feed and email.

It's little things like this that really but me even though they shouldn't.
