It looks like the puppy is not going to happen, at least not one from where we were looking at. Because they are pedigree dogs and going to be registered with the Kennel Club the asking price will be over £2000 and we just can't afford that.

We will find the right dog for us so will keep looking.

In other news, I've been having some conversations at work about the future, and just come out of a meeting that may get me moving in another direction. Nothing firm yet but some good noises coming from the right people. 😉

We had the misfortune of watching Birds of Prey and I honestly don't know how we got to the end. I think we were in stunned disbelief and, in some weird masochistic way, wanted to see if it would get any worse. In that regard, it didn't disappoint – even though it did.
