Happy Friday!

Here were are again, racing towards the weekend with the wind in our hair and a song in our hearts. Too much?

The start of the work day has been surprisingly busy "at this ungodly hour" ¹ but I've still gotten about 400 words down. That's a full week of writing with around 3300 words and some other notes. I'm happy with that. I'm not saying that is all any good but getting them down is the important bit for now.

Editing is not writing.

After saying that the blog has reached the point where I don't need to do anything to it, I decided that the Daily RSS feed "needs" updating. Currently, it is rebuilt each day for the preceding day and only holds one day of posts at a time. If your RSS reader doesn't poll the feed on any given day (say you use multiple devices and don't open it) then there will be gaps. I'm going to extend it to a rolling five day feed.

Other than that I don't feel like I need to do anything, honest. 😊

Oh, just one other thing. (Isn't there always!)

If a post was initially saved as draft I was not processing outgoing webmentions on publishing. This will serve as a test

Update: the web mention was sent on publishing but a comment not created. Off to Postman to troubleshoot.

The latest muse-letter has gone out and I actually managed to get the title right!
