The past couple of days have, understandably, been a bit stressful and I could be forgiven for not having followed my daily meditation practice or written anything by hand. But it's, quite possibly, at times like these that the most benefit is to be gained from such things.

    I heard someone describe it as "adjust your own mask first." If you aren't doing the minimum for yourself, you won't be at your best for others, so if you're taking care of everyone else you need to try harder for yourself.

    I try to remember it for that reason. If I'm a disaster I'm certainly not doing YOU any good either.
