I decided to mix things up and combined my meditation with a qigong breathing exercise. After ten minutes seated I adopted a standard pose (feet shoulder width apart) and, with eyes still closed and focusing on my breath, performed a basic warm-up.

With a focus on the movements alongside the breathing it silenced the voice inside more than meditation alone and is why I'm really excited to get a regular T'ai Chi routine going.

I think I might make it a regular practice.
