So many times recently I've heard people use the words pray and meditate in the same context, often in the same sentence. They are in good company as even the Queen did it in her recent address to the nation.
The two have long had a strange and mixed association but both are spiritual practices whether you are reaching out to a deity, nature, the universe, or not. They are both contemplative, reflective, searching, so what does it matter how you do it or what it is called.
