My sleep has been suffering and I know that it's due to stress and anxiety over work as I build my hours and approach the end of my phased return.

I'm painfully aware that my meditation practice has also suffered in the past couple of weeks. What I don't know, however, is if this is a result of the anxiety or, maybe, it's the other way round.

As the early starts have left me more tired so the good habits I cultivated in recent months have been dropping away and I know I need to arrest this slide before it goes too far.

    I know how hard it is to remember in the moment but, in those times you feel the stress and anxiety arising, take just a few moments — seconds even — to close your eyes and focus on breath. It helps (and, counts).
