# When I gave my first impressions on the iPhone X I wrote that it hit the "sweet spot between size and comfort" but I miss certain aspects of the Plus phones, especially when in landscape.

I've remarked that the X is very much a "portrait" device which, despite having a wider screen when in landscape does not have multi-pane functionality.

With the manufacturing costs for this year's phones said to be reduced, and a suggestion that the rumoured 6.5 inch iPhone X Plus could start at the same price as the original X, I am sorely tempted to jump out of that sweet spot in favour of the larger device.
