The new hardware version of round and around is done!
β¦and around, and around, and around.
I've been using a free text to speech website to make spoken vocals rather than try to record something. It's working out nicely and adds something extra that has been missing previously.
Throw in a free vocoder plugin and you've really got something.
It goes round and around, and around...
Just a quick idea I put together in Reason that could turn into something cool.
My brain doesn't want to do more than one thing in any given period but when it comes to something it wants to do I hyperfocus.
I'm repeating what I wrote back in April.
I was never entirely happy with the Roland TR-06 1 as I thought the volume levels of the different sounds were too inconsistent. As soon as I got the RD-9 2 the TR was disconnected.
It turns out that depending on how you connect it you need to mess around with the 'OUT' parameter to force everything on to the same output channel. The improvement is amazing so I've hooked it back up to create some old school acid vibes and am loving it!
I'm looking to get a few tracks together that I'm really happy with to list on BandCamp (and maybe Spotify etc.) It's a whole different world from uploading tracks to the old mp3.com back in 1999/2000.
Two years ago I wrote down a line that came to me while in the garden. A slight tweak and it becomes a haiku:
Leaves softly falling
From the tree as it gently
Weeps for each one lost
