Happy birthday to my amazing wife! 🎉🎂

Lots of fun and games in store (literally) so let's get this party started.

The blog is static, fixed – day after day, posts in chronological order. That's just how it works and it makes perfect sense for that to be the case. That's what a blog is and does.

But it's not enough.

That's why I added the 'random post' page to surface older posts from any time rather than just having the latest material on show. That and 'On this day' serve as both starting point and reminder.

The 'Start Here' page goes one (or two) step(s) further. Instead of just showing the latest items for labels I have decided to randomise things to freshen it up each time it's viewed. The labels are displayed in a random order and will show three posts at random for each label as a launchpad for exploration.

Once the labels are populated with more content this could become a powerful tool.
