Happy Friday!

For the past four years I have been using DuckDuckGo as my primary search engine across all platforms and have been pretty happy with it. Yesterday, on my phone, I switched to the new search engine beta from Brave to give it a try.

The promise of greater privacy is always welcome and a completely independent search index that hopefully provides results uncluttered with a lot of the crap you 'find' elsewhere will be interesting to see.

The real test of any search engine is whether you have to switch out to an alternative if you can't find what you're looking for. Let's see how Brave search performs.

@colinwalker I had to switch out from Duck Duck Go back to Google to find items I was researching. I found what I was looking for on Google instantly. DDG is good mostly, but not good enough.

@colinwalker I've been messing with Brave search. it seems to work well, and the web version has some really nice features. I'll use it for awhile.

I've not had much call to use it yet so will see how it goes. I need to read up on its features.

Updated the readme for (b)log-In as I forgot to mention the option for comment moderation. Also found a few more instances where the code directly references my name or URL or site specifics so have edited those out – there are likely still more.
