@colinwalker That's too bad. ☚ī¸ (It was cloudy here too but thin enough to be able to make out the disk at times.)

By the time we got back from the vaccination centre, my daughter started feeling ill with a lot of pain around her shoulder and in her neck. Her hand and lips started swelling and NHS 111 decided it was best to send some paramedics. They checked her over and took her to hospital in the ambulance just in case of an allergic reaction.

She was given antihistamine which seemed to be helping and we were ready to go pick her up (the rule is still in place that you can't go with a patient) but her blood pressure and temperature started rising and she was having a blood test.

Now her hand is starting to swell again so we don't know what the current position is. The blood test results should hopefully come back soon but, until then, we're just waiting.

@colinwalker That sounds really scary. Good thing she got to the hospital quickly. I'm sure this will be routine for them, but no less anxiety for you at home I imagine. ❤ī¸

The worst bit was not being able to go to hospital with her.

To keep myself occupied I moved the WordPress installation into a subfolder to further separate it from the blog. This drastically simplifies the root folder and will stop me getting confused about where anything is.

I've had to adjust a few things and keep coming across hardcoded links that need to be altered but most things are working okay.

I think I might try to recreate the digital garden under the new system now that Ive got everything working just how I want. I can base it on the journal but with the addition of 'page' titles so that they can be linked directly.

Good news!

I brought my daughter home from hospital – fortunately, the allergic reaction didn't progress any further. We've got to keep a close watch for the next 48 hours as it could flare up again without warning and, if that happens, we've got to rush her straight back in as secondary reactions can apparently be worse than the first.

Thanks for all the good wishes.
