# Our eldest daughter has become unwell so we're hoping that it's a normal cold/flu thing and not the virus. She's on regular paracetamol and using a nebuliser to keep her airways clear and open. We're not taking any chances.
No one else in the house is currently showing any symptoms.
The slightest cough has everyone wondering and, if in public, others looking on in both scorn and fear. It's going to take a long time for us all to readjust even once restrictions are raised.

# I've written about my attempts to find the right mail app before. When Mailbox was shuttered it left a lot of people scrambling for a replacement; I settled on Edison Mail (originally called simply Email by EasilyDo) while on the iPhone and still use it now I'm on Android.
Seeing that Edison are now launching a fully fledged mail service called OnMail caught my eye. They repeat the mantra that "Email is broken" and "the email services we’ve known and loved don’t seem to be cutting it anymore". Having spent a number of years working on their own app they claim to be "uniquely poised to fix the issues surrounding email" but how many times have we heard that before!
Still, having used there app for this long I'm willing to give them a chance and have signed up to their waiting list in true Mailbox style (remember those days?) They also give you a referral code to pass on to others so you can use that if you're as curious as I am.

# After speaking with NHS 111 it looks like my daughter does indeed have coronavirus. The doctor said that it tends to go one of two ways: getting pneumonia as the secondary condition or bacterial tonsillitis. Because she's got an incredibly sore throat it looks like she's, fortunately, got the latter. It's still not pleasant but it's not the direction that results in being hospitalised.
We've got to go to a pharmacy tomorrow but then isolate for 14 days.
The chances are that the rest of the household already has it and is asymptomatic or hasn't started showing any symptoms. Let's hope it stays that way.
@colinwalker Best wishes to her and your family, Colin.
